Panasonic Tablet ebook reader with Android 2.2

At E-Book Expo Tokyo, Panasonic has introduced a tablet is currently developing, which could be officially presented next August. The new Panasonic tablet ebook  weighs about 400 grams and has a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The tablet, shown at the stand of the Japanese, had a dual core processor with an integrated camera, WiFi module, and a microSDHC slot for memory cards.

The tablet will be distributed Panasonic preloaded with 600 electronic books, 16 pre-installed applications (a browser, email client, PDF reader, etc) and will be based on Android operating system 2.2. To enhance the capabilities of digital book reader, Panasonic has partnered with Rakuten, the biggest Japanese e-commerce, which will provide a catalog of e-books up to date with its 10,000 titles in its digital library (opening soon).

Owners of the Panasonic tablet also can earn points for every purchase of ebook to be used for other items will appear in the same store Rakuten (from clothes to food). According to Panasonic, the tablet's ebook reader will be directed to customers of 30-40 years, avid readers, but also lovers of music, movies and the Internet.
