HP ProBook 6465b: Business Notebook With AMD Llano

ProBook HP 6465b notebook is the new business-oriented products from Hewlett Packard and the first to be equipped with the new AMD core Llano APU, which promises even greater performance to those of the previous platform, Brazos, which is having much success (C50 processors Ontario Zacate and E350). Outwardly, the handset is characterized by beautiful clean lines and modern, very clean and stylized, and a black color.
With a footprint of 338 x 231.3 x 34 mm, with a weight of 2.12 kg, which may vary slightly depending on the configuration. The screen has a diagonal of 14 inches with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels, LED backlight and anti-reflective coating. The configurations available are six and, depending on the budget, prices range from 615 to 852 euros excluding VAT. The processors are available: AMD A6 or A4-3410MX-3310MX. The first is a quad core clocked at 1.6/2.3 GHz (AMD Core Turbo) and 4 MB of L2 cache, while the other is a dual core processor with clock rate of 2.1/2.5 GHz and 2 MB of secondary cache level, both based on new core Llano, which we have already spoken several times.

Depending on the graphics subsystem of the processor or AMD Radeon HD will be 6520G or 6480G AMD Radeon HD. The first offers 320 shader units with working frequency of 400 MHz, support for DirectX 11 and Shader Model 5.0 and is equipped with 3 engine UVD hardware decoding for HD video streams. The second GPU has 240 shader units instead of 444 MHz, while the other features are identical to another model. Neither has a GPU dedicated memory, so use a portion of that system, through HyperMemory technology, which should partly offset the high latency of the connection to the onboard RAM. In conjunction we will find 2 to 4 GB of DDR3 1333 MHz, SATA II hard drives and 7200 RPM in denominations of 500 GB or 320 or, alternatively, an SSD of 128 GB.

Other features include an optical drive type DVD + /-RW SuperMulti DL, eSATA, HDMI, VGA, DisplayPort, FireWire 400 IEEE 1394a, a multicard reader, ExpressCard/34 slot, and 54, HD Webcam, Gigabit Ethernet LAN 10 / 100/1000, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, in addition to the HSPA + 3G module. The operating system is Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. The 6-cell battery is 51 Wh. HP 6465b ProBook is also equipped with a keyboard, spill-resistant liquid, multitouch touchpad, and in some versions, point stick with two buttons.

Finally the inevitable suite of professional software HP ProtectTools Security Manager, which includes tools for hardware encryption of sensitive data, a program of face recognition with a webcam and various safety programs to login. All six versions of the HP 6465b ProBook are already available on the Hewlett Packard official store with best prices that vary from 615 to 852 euros excluding VAT, depending on the configuration chosen.
