Is it possible to combine rigidity and flexibility? From this was born Flex application, a revolutionary flexible tablet immediately shows a great versatility of use. It is a concept designed by Rene Lee, whose "deeds" are intriguing and involving many users and experts. Flex is, in essence, a folding tablet-equipped for the occasion with an appropriate flexible screen. This panel can be bent without breaking and without any difficulty but at the same time, it is able to maintain a degree of rigidity which allows it to be used.
It is a touchscreen that in slate mode, has a diagonal of 14 inches, a value that is brought to 18.5-inch wide-expanded mode. All this is possible thanks to a special purpose-built structure that actually makes Flex a true slate-tablet hybrid convertible. It will be up to you to switch from one mode to another according to their needs. But actually, this concept is interesting because of its versatility.
For example, you can use it, folding it like a notebook easily taking notes of any kind. Taking advantage, however, a special hub, you can also rotate the screen in order to share content with anyone else. Perhaps the images we can understand better the spirit of Flex. One of the most interesting is undoubtedly that of the device used as a real notebook using the qualities of flexibility of the display.
Of course, the attention raises the image that shows how the screen can be expanded and increased to 18.5 inches. We do not know with certainty if and when Flex will arrive in the markets. For the moment it is only an experiment which, however, is delivering very interesting especially for the combination of versatility and usability of technology.
