Sony Playstation Vita will be "profitable from the start"

Scott Rohde, vice president of Sony Computer Entertainment of America, in an interview with GameTrailers has announced that Playstation Vita will be profitable from the start, since the selling price has been decided before it started the actual development of console.

Formerly known as NGP and PSP 2, the new PS Vita aims to redefine standards of mobile video games, thanks not only to the processor and graphics chip type quad core, but also to the various inputs that provide new possibilities for gameplay.

We can cite for example the multi-screen 5-inch OLED capacitive touch, touch pad, rear multi-touch capacitance, the traditional physical buttons Playstation, the two analog sticks, two cameras, microphone, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and even 3G.

2011 E3 trade show in Los Angeles were shown many titles in development, among which we can mention Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Little Big Planet, Dragon Crown, Ridge Racer, Little Deviants, Rayman Origins, Bioshock, and Virtua Tennis 4 Silent Hill: Book of Memories.

The vice president of SCEA also revealed that currently are under development more than 80 titles for the console, and this number will grow exponentially over the coming months.
