Acer Ultrabook in September?

A few days ago, have emerged on the Internet the first official pictures of the future ultrabook Acer, Acer Aspire 3951. At that time the indicative date of launch in October. According to the Chinese newspaper Commercial Times, however, Acer could anticipate the release of his ultrabook in September, a month before then, to compete directly with the Asus ultrabook UX21.

The latest leaks show that the Taiwanese company has decided to accelerate the development program, in order not to leave the field open to rivals. Despite the good intentions, however, Acer Aspire 3951 has not yet entered into production and this could delay the company plans to blow up. Acer spokesman also stressed that the company has revised the design of its ultrabook for at least twice, initially decided to launch 13-inch models.

The compact 11.6-inch versions, therefore, will slip further pending a review and almost certainly a re-evaluation and design the components that make up the price. More details will be available in the next IDF in 2011, planned for days, and the IFA in 2011, set in the first week of September.
