BlackBerry Playbook 2

Although BlackBerry Playbook was just realesed a few weeks ago on the U.S. market, it seems that Research in Motion is planning Blackberry Playbook 2 (second generation) for next summer.

The second generation of Blackberry Playbook (commonly called Blackberry Playbook 2) does not take a hardware upgrade, but will offer the existing technical equipment on a tablet with a larger screen.  Playbook 2 probably will incorporate a 10-inch display, which is significantly larger and more comfortable 7-inch screen on this playbook first-generation, distributed these days on some international markets.

From what we can learn from the first rumors, BlackBerry playbook 2 is also characterized by a software update, so that the operating system will include both an email client and support both BBM (BlackBerry Messenger). As for Blackberry playbook, RIM reported sales beyond the initial expectations, pushing the company to continue development of the tablet and its software bundle. RIM, in fact, has also concentrated on the BlackBerry operating system OS 7.

The arrival of a larger version of the tablet may surprise, since the market is not yet available for the 4G model Playbook first-generation BlackBerry. According to Research in Motion, however, users need a nice version of the Playbook, to work more easily. Are you also agree with this opinion?
