Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet?

Lenovo could launch an Android 10 inch tablet, a Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet true (or ThinkTab?), intended for professionals in the summer. The news comes directly from some internal documents of China, revealed yesterday on the Web images, as you note, show a prototype or a working draft on a ultra-portable device. We do not know at the moment whether it is a tablet already developed (and in the process of production) or concept. Lenovo will not lean in official statements.

In contrast to the images, technical data provide us with some more reliable information on the device whose configuration is standard with a 10.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels at 16:10 aspect ratio and IPS type multitouch capacitive touchscreen technology. More rare is the presence (optional) a stylus to the tablet, which will be equipped with a Nvidia Tegra processor 2. The choice of such a platform is certainly explains the position in the market for Nvidia tablet, where the company dominates the entire segment Android-based (for now).

As for the rest of the budget, we report a form 802.11n WiFi, 3G modem, USB 2.0 standard as well as a micro USB card reader and an SD (not microSD) and mini HDMI port. The battery should provide a range of 8 hours. The Lenovo ThinkPad tablet weighs 715 grams and should be distributed with NAND Flash 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. With a starting price of $ 499 and 16GB of data space, ThinkTab could be offered with a keyboard that will transform it into a Lenovo netbooks, like Asus Eee Pad Transformer.
